ok yeah that's what i was thinking too. we take care of everybody at the fort and radio when we have to, but it's a long drive from prescott to the fort and i know minutes count in an emergency
i know why you'd ask my sister. she's good at this and she's responsible. but she'd never work for prescott
exactly. we're not trying to pass the buck, just trying to spread knowledge where we can.
I asked your sister as it came up in a conversation I was already having with her, not because I was trying to scalp her or think she's the sole person who could benefit from responder training at your community. If anything, it made a lot more sense to me that she might be asking on your behalf, as honestly - no disrespect meant - what's required of a responder seems more your vibe. either of you would be amazing assets to have, though no one is expecting a complete relocation over training.
iirc I complimented her CPR skills, then it ended up being brought up between up before I asked her? ngl I don't remember the exact word for word convo as that would actually be helpful.
what woulc your pitch have been? inquiring minds wants to know
it's kind of silly. [...] i know i don't seem like a serious person. i ignore rules. i like dumb shit. but i think what you do is amazing and i'd love the chance to prove i can do it too. [...] i spent half my life as a ballerina. if you want someone who can work really really hard for really long hours, who'll learn how to do something over and over until she gets it perfect, who can move as part of a team to achieve something special... that's me
